Rhys Millen’s first visit to Korea brought home a win in the DDGT ST 300 class at the KIC (Korean International Circuit) in Young-Am, South Korea.
Hankook Tires invited Rhys to participate in Round 5 of the DDGT Championship. Never heard of DDGT yet? That’s because it’s the Korean-based Drift, Drag and Road Course challenge.
On the first day of events, Rhys showed off his drifting capabilities behind the wheel of a Hyundai Genesis Coupe around the circuit track. He also spent one-on-one time with other drivers, talking about proper setups and techniques for driving a Genesis Coupe.
On the second day, Rhys participated in the DDGT Road Race. Hankook arranged a Hyundai Genesis Coupe for Rhys to drive with the Atlas BX team and surprised everyone by taking second place at the qualifying, even before he got familiar with the car and the track. Millen went on to finish first in the DDGT 300 class.
The possibilities are endless to what the future might bring. Millen expressed high interest in participating in other road challenges to come.

Love it! Hope Rhys had fun. I dig the video (and the chase car). Not sure about the driver of the chase car though
