The rollercoaster that is our national fuel price average took a downward turn just in time for the peak summer driving season, which is great news for travelers. There’s considerably less wincing at the pump, making driving all the more enjoyable and diminishing scrutiny of our fuel supply. But momentary lower fuel prices mean that our annual summer focus on fuel efficiency won’t get the same attention either.
This insight sparked a big idea at Hyundai – National Fuel Efficiency Month. Believe it or not, there’s no day, week or month dedicated to maximizing fuel efficiency. We decided it was an oversight.
